The points were awarded on the basis of 50 for first place, 48 for second, 46 for third, 44 for 4th, 42 for fifth and 40 for 6th. The grading from there downwards was 39 points for 7th , 38 for 8th and so on down to 1 for 45th place. This system was devised because we wanted to provide a slight loading in favour of the first 5 place-getters and there were no more than 45 paddlers in each category.

We determined that paddlers would need to do 3 events or more to qualify for a place in the series Pointscore, though we do know the points achieved by all paddlers including those who did only one or two events. We will be posting Certificates to the first three place-getters in each category. Well done, all of you!
